Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic form of yoga and is
currently the most common yoga style. Vinyasa is also known
as Flow yoga: it is a coordination of a flow of certain postures
on the movement of the breath. You flow, as it were, from
one posture to another in a sequence.
Postures from the Sun Salutation form the basis of Vinyasa,
these are repeated consecutively. This is followed by separate
asanas, to be able to apply variation within the flow.
The positive effect on the body can be experienced on many
different levels. During Vinyasa yoga, heat is created within
the muscle metabolism. That’s why you can sweat it all out
during a Vinyasa class: you give your body the chance to
remove waste products and your skin gets a healthy glow.
